16.5. Bearings of wheels

GENERAL INFORMATION

Normal work of a back suspension bracket is impossible without the correct adjustment of a preliminary tightness of conic roller bearings of wheels.

To adjust


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove a protective cap 17 of a nave 12.
2. To take out шплинт 15 of a pin opening.
3. Rotating a hand a wheel in the direction corresponding to movement of the car by a forward course, to tighten a nut the 16th moment of 25 Nanometers for dense compression of rings of bearings. Thus from bearings and their nests superfluous greasing and bearings is squeezed out are correctly established in nests, eliminating the possible reasons of increase axial люфта.
4. Completely to release a nut 16.
5. To tighten a nut the 16th effort of a hand. Then to release it before opening coincidence in a pin from one of cuts of a koronchaty nut, but no more, than on a turn half.
6. To establish new шплинт and to bend its ends.
7. To measure an axial gap. At the correct adjustment of bearings the axial gap should make 0,03–0,13 mm.
