12.17. Air removal from hydrosystem

GENERAL INFORMATION

For the correct definition of level of working liquid after completion of maintenance or repair of the helmsman гидроусилитепя it is necessary to remove air from hydrosystem.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Completely to turn operated wheels to the left and to add working liquid in a tank to "COLD" label.
2. To start the Engine and to deduce it on the increased frequency of idling. To check level of working liquid. If necessary to add liquid and to finish its level to "COLD" label.
3. To pump over hydrosystem, turning operated wheels from one extreme situation in another and without allowing rigid blows in limiters. Thus it is necessary to support liquid level above the soaking-up highway of the pump or on "COLD" label. The working liquid containing air, has a subtle yellowish-brown or reddish shade. Removal of air is necessary for normal operation of the steering hydraulic booster.
4. To return operated wheels to neutral situation. After that let's work to the engine of 2-3 more minutes.
5. To check operation of the steering hydraulic booster under way the car. Normal operation of the hydraulic booster should not сопровож be given by noise.
6. Repeatedly to check level of working liquid as it is described in operations 1 and 2. To be convinced that after warming up and stabilization of temperature of working liquid its level corresponds neatly "NOTES".
